About Jeremy Justice

Jeremy Justice is the Owner and Private Investigator (Qualified Manager) of private investigation (PI) firm Jeremy Justice Investigation and Research (JJIR). Jeremy is passionate about fighting for indigent clients and plaintiffs and takes an empathetic approach into each case. He’s an experienced investigator with a background in criminal defense, project management, international development, think tank industries, and human rights abuse investigation.

Having zealously worked to represent indigent clients for nearly 10 years at the federal and local level, including at the DC Public Defender Service (PDS) and with the Federal Public Defender (FPD), Jeremy set out as a PI in 2025. He is well positioned to deliver skillful investigation with a unique perspective of the US criminal justice system having worked in trial, parole, and capital habeas areas of practice.

Prior to changing careers, Jeremy was a project manager in Washington, DC for seven years where he worked to implement international development programs with a focus on the Middle East. Eventually, Jeremy developed an interest in human rights abuse investigation. A Master of Science degree in Forensic Archaeology from Bournemouth University (UK) sharpened his forensic science knowledge and investigation design skill.

Originally from Fort Worth, TX, and with an bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, Jeremy has lived in Washington, DC; Bournemouth, UK; Phoenix, AZ; and Los Angeles, CA and has traveled extensively both domestically and internationally.
